St. Stanislaus Alumni Chili Cook-Off - January 26, 2013
St. Stanislaus Alumni Group sponsored their Third Annual Chili Cook Off on Saturday, January 26, 2013. Beginning with the 5:00 o'clock Mass and then 150 former classmates, parishioners and friends of St. Stanislaus Parish, along with 17 chefs, who were all hoping that their Chili Creation would be the 'Best in Show', went over to the Social Hall on Baxter.  It was a tough assignment for the three Judges, Kevin Holdash-2012 Winner, and Tony Brancatelli-Ward 12 Councilman and Jon Loufman-WOIO-CBS Meteorologist. But someone had to make the sacrifice and taste all those Chilies. When the Judges reached their final agreement, 3rd place went to John Sklodowski and his "Toucan Chili", 2nd place to Marilyn Mosinski and her "Not your Momma's Chili", and the 2013 Golden Spoon Award winner was Ed Jason and his "Ed's Triple Pod Chili".

The coveted 'door prize was the 'Commemorative Apron, signed by all of the Chefs, Judges, Fr. Eric and Fr. Paschal. 
W. Pietrzuk was the lucky winner of the Apron. 
Larry Mielczarek, Steve Sikora, Linda Sikora and Wally Kase handled Bar duties. Steve handled the soft drinks and water like a 'professional bartender in training' for future St. Stanislaus Events!
