Parish Mission Statement
We, the members of St. Stanislaus Church, are the people of God, empowered by the
sacraments to become a servant community. In the midst of our second century of
service, we celebrate our Polish heritage, our Christian spirit, and the prayerful
devotion of our people. Our mission is to share the richness of our community
life with all that seek a Christian home. Our life and mission is centered
on worship, evangelization, education and community. In gratitude to Almighty
God, under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, with the intercession of all the Saints
in Christ, may our vision come to light.
We hope and pray that if we all work together through our ministries, we can achieve
harmony and prosperity for our church, school and neighborhood.
Pastoral Council: The Pastoral Council, consisting
of nine members is committed to promoting the spiritual growth of the
parish community and planning ways for the parish to carry out the mission of
the church. It is a consultative body, which makes recommendations to the
Pastor on matters concerning the life and pastoral
ministry of the parish. It carries out the purpose in deference to the
Parish Mission Statement and the norms of the Parish Pastoral Council Policy
of the Diocese of Cleveland. Meets the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM.
Finance Council: The Parish Finance Council is a
consultative body, which unites laity and clergy in a community of
prayer, leadership, service and financial planning. The Pastor consults the
Finance Council on major financial concerns, which affect
the life and mission of the parish, namely, to proclaim the Word, to build up the
community, to celebrate the liturgy and to serve all God's people. The Finance
Council provides expertise and consultation through financial analysis, planning
and policy development to aid the Pastor in the administration of parish financial

The members are appointed because of their skills in finance, administration and law.
